Abstract :
The cobalt oxide superconductor NaxCoO2·yH2O is investigated herein. Given that it is difficult to obtain a net attractive interaction between conducting electrons in the singlet case for this material, it is reported here that the Coulomb interaction for triplet pairs can be reduced by exchange interactions, resulting in attraction between the pairs. Resistivities are determined by carriers of the one-band-type along the c-axis and in the ab plane.
