Abstract
To solve the problems of self-propelled corn harvester´s big structure, large consumption, bad suitability and high price, a general plan of 4YZ-3 multi-function self-propelled corn harvester suited with 40KW diesel engine was fixed and the components design and parameters of double level pre-chain system inletting reel, compound picker and straw crusher were finished. The result of test and demonstration application showed that the main technology indexes had achieved and surpassed the machine´s design demand. The harvester can once implement picking, cleaning, transporting tassel and crushing straw & returning them to field, and asymmetry row work which had good applying economic effect.
