Abstract :
Conceptual design of the capacitor bank with about 120 MJ energy storage and 22 kV operational voltage is presented. This capacitor bank will be used to drive the xenon flashlamps for pumping of Nd-glass laser amplifiers which are included in the facility ISKRA-6. Possible components and circuit of the bank module are discussed.
