Abstract :
A ferrite transmission line transformer with an impedance transformation of 1:4 and a bandwidth of 1 MHz to 5 GHz is presented. The circuit is based on a straight semi-rigid coaxial transmission line and a single ferrite tube mounted on a PCB. Analysis and modeling of the circuit is presented together with theoretical and experimental results.
