Technical specification and requirements of static VAr compensation (SVC) protection consist of TCR, TSC and combined TCR/TSC

One of the most important disturbances in power systems is variation of voltage. SVC is used as a tool for compensating disturbances. SVC protection requirements are very important in application. The equipment in a SVC must be protected from disadvantage due to all types of system jeopardizes. In this paper a perfect protection system is designed and relevant technical specifications for only a TCR,only TSC or combined TCR/TSC is presented.
