  • Abstract
    This paper describes the numerical modeling of radiation parameters in cavities of centimetric sizes irradiated by X-rays from an imploding double-cascade Z-pinch. The semi-empirical parameters of the imploding liner are determined from an analysis of the experiments on PBFA-Z installation. The results of 2-D scaling calculations of intensity, temperature and radiation symmetry in cavities of centimetric sizes for a wide range of current values in the liner system are presented. The forecasts for installations X-1 and EMIR are also presented.
