Abstract :
A digital multiplexer for low-speed synchronous data communications in a military environment is described. A 16-b embedded microprocessor is employed as a platform for executing real-time software to process the digital data signals. The system undertakes the clock recovery, plesiochronous buffering and data multiplexing for thirty low-speed data inputs. The implementation of a simple clock recovery algorithm is discussed
