Abstract :
The application of the features available for the SPICE program package to frequency converters is discussed. The model of the thyristor used is the three-junction J3 SCR model. As an example, the circuit of a frequency converter is given. On the basis of the SPICE program and the J3 SCR model, a frequency converter model was developed. The electromagnetic processes running in the converter were simulated and its stable model of operation was set
