Abstract :
The security module in the wireless SCADA system for offshore wind farms needs compact ciphers. The core of modern ciphers is based on the substitution box (S-Box). In this paper, we propose a class of compact S-Boxes. The theoretical robustness of these S-Boxes is due to the nonlinear mapping in the Galois field.
