Abstract
A developing technique for future satellites operating at higher frequencies is intended to overcome attenuation sensitivity caused by hydrometeors in the atmosphere. Fade dynamics have been identified as an important parameter for system design and fade prediction. This paper describes the application of propagation statistics for these future satellite systems. The different aspects of the dynamic characteristics for fade prediction are discussed, and hence their implications on the backup resources management. A System is purposed to collect information from prediction modules for application to FCM management
