Abstract :
Highly concurrent batch transversal algorithms for multichannel FIR (finite-impulse response) filters with different numbers of memory elements per input channel are developed. Their transversal structure complements the fast lattice algorithms originally proposed by F. Ling and J.G. Proakis (1984). These algorithms are directly applicable to ARMA system identification and the design of decision-feedback equalizers
