Abstract
A recently proposed approach for multicriterion optimization is used for the design of two-dimensional (2-D) infinite impulse response digital filters. The approach satisfies both amplitude and group-delay characteristics simultaneously. This approach was used on the design of 2-D circularly symmetric lowpass filters and 2-D symmetric fan filters
