  • Abstract
The rapid evolution of next-generation networks and in particular fixed mobile convergence infrastructures raises the issue of providing personalized services adapted to the user´s context such as its device, access network, preferences or QoS requirements. To design such value-added services, one solution consists in composing dynamically distributed service entities. In this paper, relying on the SIP protocol, we propose to automate the setup of this service composition. Moreover, we define a session mobility mechanism to dynamically adapt the global end- to-end service despite perturbations (e.g. user switching device or service component failure). A prototype of this work has been implemented to validate the feasibility of our approach and provide preliminary performance information.
