Abstract :
In order to realize the miniaturization of the strip line log periodic dipole arrays, this paper adopt a unit of the rectangle electric capacity patch as the resonance unit of this aerial, have realized the miniaturization of this aerial. In this paper calculated and analyzed various this units of different design parameters and got the design principles of size-reduction. Then design a 70% miniaturization ratio strip line log periodic dipole arrays, the designed SPLPDA were fabricated and measure the VSWR and direction, test result indicate the method did not deteriorate performance. It is a kind of effective miniaturization method.
