Abstract :
In contrast to conventional arrays compact multiport antennas require each port to make use of the entire radiation structure in order to provide uncorrelated patterns and isolation between the ports. By means of an array mode representation a new design approach is presented which transforms the design goal into the demand for coincident mode impedances at operational frequency
