Abstract :
A novel transmit diversity scheme is proposed. Instead of using orthogonal codes in orthogonal transmit diversity technique, Gold codes are assigned to different transmit antennas. Jointly with a minimum variance decorrelating receiver, the proposed scheme can be applied to the asynchronous frequency selective fading channel which is one of the major obstacles for applications of other transmit diversity schemes.
