It´s a international trend for medicine sectors to adoption e-commerce. However, majority Chinese medicine companies are still on hesitant and indecisive manner. Based on the extant researches, this paper develops a multi-dimensional model about factors influencing the adoption of e-commerce in medicine companies and presents a set of testable hypotheses. Then using data from a survey of medicine companies in china, the hypotheses are tested empirically. The results indicate that leadership´s attitude, the complexity of BPR, firm´s size and capital, standardized management system, customer and supplier´s cognition of e-commerce, and suppliers´ degree of informatization are main factors influencing Chinese medicine companies to adopt e-commerce practices.
