Abstract :
The object of this study is to show the railgun´s superiority in range to the conventional artillery. By establishing the centroid motion equation of the projectile, a three-dimensional simulation model of the external ballistic s centroid motion system based on the MATLAB simulink module platform is studied. Results indicate that Railgun has a much higher range than the conventional artillery. This study is meaningful for analyzing the Railgun´s operational capability and its practical application.
