Abstract :
In this paper, an optically controlled band gap reconfigurable structure using photo-induced periodic stubs along a microstrip line is presented. Photo-induced stubs are created by illuminating a microstrip line with small laser spots. Theoretical model of the photo-induced lossy stubs is developed and the frequency response of the periodic structure is computed.
