Abstract
This paper deals with the optimal management of an industrial power plant in a deregulated framework. In this context, an industrial customer can satisfy the internal demand of electrical energy both by participating at the spot market and by producing with the own plant. Therefore, the problems of the optimal management of the power plant and of the optimal bidding arise. In this paper, an optimization model to solve these problems is presented and also numerical applications are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model.
