Abstract
Down syndrome is detected from fetus during the gestation period. Short nasal bone and absence of nasal bone in fetal image is powerful marker for Down syndrome during ultrasound screening. Measurement of Down syndrome can be performed using invasive and non invasive test. The work shows various methodologies to detect Nasal Bone Length (NBL) for Down syndrome during 11-14 and 15-22 in first and second trimester weeks of gestation respectively. Statistical analysis is performed on euploid and aneuploid fetuses on various race and ethnic groups.
