  • Abstract
The multi-site commercial market including retail, restaurants, grocery stores, theaters and bank branches represents an estimated 12% of US peak load. Intensely cost conscious and ever-seeking economies of scale, multi-site chains offer a unique opportunity to improve energy efficiency and reduce consumption through automated demand response programs. That same bottom line laser focus also creates challenges - requiring solutions that provide multiple layers of control and visibility and high levels of security, while driving shed strategies that do not impact day-to-day operations and sales revenue.
