Abstract
This paper presents the design and test of an optical concentrator dedicated to optical wireless indoor communications. The size of the device is here imposed by both the high bit rate of the link under study and the necessity to compensate for free-space power attenuation. Mini compound parabolic prototypes are designed and fabricated in PMMA using a 3D micro-milling machine. The device are then characterized through static and dynamic tests.
