  • Abstract
In the second half of the past century, state estimation techniques become a powerful tool in control centres of the power networks. After that, power networks become more and more complicated and interconnected and control centres feel the necessity of have more information about the network under control. Run the state estimation program more times, was one of the possible solutions. So, computer processing time couldn´t be great. Allied with the evolution on networks is the evolution of computers and programming languages. Because of that, implementations of robust state estimation algorithms suffer a great development as computers become more and more powerful. Starting on the first computers and their programming languages limitations to nowadays tools of power systems networks analysis and control, development is in sight. This paper made a comparison of results obtained from several state estimation simulations using different programming languages.
