Abstract :
This panelist will focus on the impacts of electric vehicles on the electric grid in China. Since 2009, when China declared its Strong Smart Grid policy, it has launched a path of using the transformed smart grid to enable the integration of renewable (e.g., wind and solar PV farms) and electric vehicles. This is part of the overall government strategy of transforming its future economy to be dependent on cleantech, smart grid and renewable instead of totally dependence on steel, cement and mortar.
