Abstract :
Passenger and goods elevators require hoist mechanism which avoid resonance vibrations. A method of investigating and diminishing vibrations, based on amplitude-time and amplitude-frequency characteristics of an elevator system is reported. A dynamic elevator model with 22 degrees of freedom is used in the analysis. It is found that the dynamic models, differential equations, and methods used are effective for analyzing and synthesizing elevator mechanical systems and diminishing vibrations
