Abstract :
In this paper an effective scan mode for a pyroelectric vidicon is considered. It is shown that TV scanning mode is not suitable for pyroelectric vidicons. Proposed solutions allow implementing the spatial resolution that can be provided by pyroelectric modulation effect tube (PEMET) vidicons.
