Abstract :
A method of keeping one of the most suitable driving conditions for regulating the outflow volume from the ventricular assist device (VAD) is presented. The optimal operating point is obtained in some cases with respect to the drive pressure levels and the heart rate. An algorithm for keeping the optimal operating point is obtained under the condition that LVAD is pumping alone
