Abstract :
This paper presents a new stability condition based on a switching Lyapunov function for a class of nonlinear systems. In our previous paper (2001), we propose a switching fuzzy model based on the sector nonlinearity concept. The switching fuzzy model can exactly represent a class of nonlinear systems globally or semi-globally. This paper describes a construction method of a switching Lyapunov function for the switching fuzzy model. The switching Lyapunov function is constructed by mirroring structure of the switching fuzzy model. An example illustrates the utility of this approach
