Abstract :
To reflect the accurate characteristics of targets, plane wave should be assumed around the target. However, the plane wave does not always keep its infinite width in the far field. As a result, we assume incident beam wave with limited width. In this paper, laser radar cross-section (LRCS) is calculated. This task is necessary particularly when LRCS calculation is for targets with inflection points in a strong random medium. E-wave polarization (E-wave incidence) is considered while targets take a wavelength greater than one. The behavior of the LRCS with changing the random medium fluctuations strength is investigated in this paper. Also, the enhancement in the LRCS is numerically analyzed with different spatial coherence length size.
