Abstract :
This paper describes a method for determination of maintenance schedules for Iran interconnected generating system for next ten years. In the next 10 years many new power plants will be in operation and this research seems to be important not only of maintenance view but also for assessment of other generating system parameters like cost and reliability indices. For this purpose a system planning software ICARUS (a model for investigating cost and reliability in utility systems) is used K.A. Guzil, et al., (1990). Program uses a modified probabilistic simulation technique based on economic loading order that produces an acceptable level of accuracy.
