Abstract :
Ribbon cable, as one kind of transmission lines, is mainly used for the signal transmission in and between electrical equipments of information system. In this paper, the crosstalk in ribbon cable of different pinout assignments is discussed, based on multiconductor transmission line theory. The simulation results give the spectral response and transient response of terminal voltage, which can show the coupling characteristic between the conductors.
