Abstract :
In this paper a multi-band multi-antenna system for WLAN MIMO box having low isolation has been presented. The miniaturized antenna consists of two IFAs antenna placed in the corner of the home-box PCB and separated by only 10 mm. To achieve a good isolation between the IFAs, an improved neutralization technique consisting in inserting a capacitor between the transmission line has been used. This method allows achieving an isolation better than 15 dB in the lower WLAN band and better than 13 dB in the entire higher WLAN band. This system is clearly suitable for enhanced diversity and MIMO receivers.
