Abstract
Estimating the position of mobile-terminals is a key requirement for many wireless applications. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for locating a mobile using a single receiving antenna array based on a pattern matching approach in indoor environments. The set of signal subspaces of the received signals from multiple points is stored as database in advance, and then the signal subspace of the observation signal is matched with the database by a support vector regressor. The effectiveness of the proposed method is investigated through the data analysis of an indoor experiment.
