Abstract :
A brief overview of a new X.21 leased line data transmission system is presented. This system operates in the range 128 to 512 kbit/s and uses 1 to 4 local leads (twisted telephone cable pairs) operating in parallel. Each local lead is driven by a commercially available ISDN U-interface. Particular emphasis is placed on an error monitoring strategy for this system
