Abstract
The aim of this paper is to propose a new method for solving the multiobject assignment problem with interval numbers. In the method, firstly, risk attitude parameter is employed to represent the decision-maker´s (DM´s) risk attitude in uncertain environment. Secondly, interval numbers are transformed into crisp values using interval mapping function based on the risk attitude parameter, and the assignment problem with interval numbers is transferred into the traditional assignment problem, which can be solved using Hungary algorithm. Furthermore, the situations that the number of persons is not equal to the number of jobs are also considered in this paper. Moreover, the steps of method for solving the multiobject assignment problem with interval numbers are given. Finally, the feasibility and validity of proposed method are illustrated by a practical example.
