Abstract
In this paper, a modularization method for analyzing the microwave performance of the electrode is illuminated. As an example, a CPW electrode of LiNbO3 electro-optic modulator with a bandwidth of 12 GHz is designed, and the simulation results indicate that this method is feasible in practice. The modularization method can greatly reduce the computation time, improve the design accuracy, mostly avoid transmission discontinuities and be in favor of the following optimization.
