  • Abstract
This paper proposes a new approach for cross-talk interference aggressor signal frequency estimation in a PCB by means of Wavelet signal singularity identification, to assist PCB designers tracing the aggressor signal according to its frequency character. Wavelet signal singularity is employed to identify the rise and fall sides of the aggressor pulse from the disturbed (victim) signal. The rise and fall sides of the aggressor pulse are then directly processed to determine the frequency of the aggressor signal that characterizes the disturbance signal, and may lead to the identification of the source of aggressor signal.
