  • Abstract
This article is to simulate the Uniform Linear Array and the Rectangular Planar Adaptive Antenna Array by using the LMS (Least Mean Squares) algorithm, and then to propose the way of designing the heterotypic antenna model. This model can very much reduce the size of antenna, while system gaining sufficient performance in terms of Signal-to-Interference Ratio (SIR), etc. This article realizes the simulation of two planar arrays with the LMS algorithm, and educes the antenna pattern and the error convergence curve. It also analyzes the impact of different number of array elements, as well as the angel of the projection, on the capability of the LMS algorithm, and proves that by adding the number of array elements, system can enhance the capability of suppressing interference.
