Abstract :
A flexible implementation of a transconductor-capacitor low-pass filter integrated in a standard bipolar process is described. The integrated filters can, by varying a single off-chip resistor value and/or off-chip capacitor values, be designed to operate successfully with a cutoff frequency in the range from a few hundred of hertz to a few megahertz. Many different filter responses can be demonstrated with the integrated circuit produced. The type of filter approach described has great potential for use in an analog standard cell library
