Abstract :
The development of ultra wideband (UWB) communications Is impeded by the drastic transmitted power limitations imposed by regulation authorities due to the "polluting" nature of these radio emissions with respect to existing services. In this work, uncoded adaptive modulated MIMO-OFDM benefit from both multiple transmit/receive antenna diversity order and exploiting the multipath diversity of the UWB channel It is used to enhance the link robustness through transmitting more information over subcarriers with better SNR. Simulations using modified S-V channel model indicates high system performance compared to conventional UWB-OFDM.
