Abstract :
In this paper, we describe the implementation of adaptive predistortion algorithms for nonlinear power amplifier used in the 3rd generation mobile telephony UMTS, on the base stations. We emphasize the adaptive character of the algorithm. To attend the demands of the UMTS standard, we propose the implementation of the adaptive algorithm on an FPGA platform.
