Abstract :
To resolve the problems that many TCP versions can only implement one kind of congestion control algorithm and cannot satisfy the complex application environments, this paper proposes a TCP congestion control model based on congestion event classification. This model integrates various kinds of congestion control algorithms specified by IETF, and is implemented by a state machine. The analysis shows that this model has the advantages of high throughput capacity, fairness and extensibility.
