Abstract :
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the harmonic current distortion in a system with air conditioners driven by frequency converters and its correction waveform current with the use of two filters tuned in different frequencies. The use of air conditioners inverter, despite lower power consumption, the circuit injects harmonic frequencies of multiple orders that pollute the system. The filters used here are tuned to harmonics of 5th and 3rd order. Thus the filters are installed with the aim of minimizing these distortions and improve the quality of electric power system. In this context, through computer simulations, was observed the effectiveness of both passive filters tuned aiming to reduce the levels of harmonic distortion in the current on bus.
