Abstract :
In this paper it will be presented a case study on the calculation of harmonic distortion generated by a wind farm through its simulation in the time and frequency domain. The simulated wind farm uses multipolar synchronous generators, and their connection to the power grid is made by frequency converters. The obtained results in the time domain will be compared with data obtained through simulation in the frequency domain. Thus, by the obtained results will be possible to compare the methods and determine the harmonic distortion of the analyzed wind farm.
