Abstract
In this paper, we propose a modified bidimensional empirical mode decomposition (BEMD) algorithm where the interpolation method is based on radial basis function interpolation using blocking technique combined with natural mosaicing. We can get ride of solving large linear equations and calculating huge matrix. It is proved that the modified method has faster calculating speed. At the same time, it reduces the border error problem as a result of blocking. Experimental results demonstrate that it is feasible and effective.
