Abstract :
In this paper, two different shape of defected ground structure (DGS) units are presented and their frequency characters are analyzed. Then the dual-frequency microstrip antenna integrated with these two different shapes of Combinatorial non-periodic DGS is designed. Simulated and measured results compared with conventional dual-frequency microstrip antenna show that high order harmonics are suppressed and the port isolation is enhanced .
