Abstract :
In the present communication the Photovoltaic thermal water collectors partially covered by the photovoltaic modules have been analyzed. The analytical expressions in terms of climatic and design parameter for the temperature dependent electrical efficiency and the instantaneous thermal efficiency have been derived. Further the overall thermal energy and overall exergy exergy on daily basis have been computed for the clear sky condition for New Delhi climatic conditions in the month of January. The annual overall thermal energy and the annual overall exergy have been computed. Also the CO2 mitigation and price of CO2 mitigated in a year have been obtained.
