Abstract :
The spike in the importance and complexity of power in deisgns is also leading to "shift ¿¿¿ left" for power optimization. The first generation of System Level power solutions allowed linking of design activity to the corresponding power model. Though a significant step forward but the fact that the power model and the performance/functional models are distinct models, it still leaves the opportunity for a significant discontinuity in the design cycle.
