Abstract :
The paper describes a dual-channel millimeter wave radiometer system with high resolution, which is used to remotely sense integrated water vapor and integrated liquid water in the troposphere. A new structure that is similar to noise-adding radiometer and periodic calibration technology is adopted in this system. The radiometer system is positioned on a table, which can scan between 0°∼360° in azimuth and 0°∼90° in elevation. Observing results are stored in PC and can be digitally processed to reduce troposphere information. Some practical results are given at the end of the paper.
